Terms of Service

The rules for using CambodiaDate, operated by Pixivo Studios Ltd.

Effective: 7 September 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Pixivo Studios Ltd, company number 17132341, trading as CambodiaDate (“CambodiaDate”, “we”, “us”). They govern your use of https://cambodiadate.net (the “Service”).

By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

To use CambodiaDate you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
  • Be legally permitted to use the Service in your country of residence.
  • Not use an account that is shared, deceptive, or created for another person.

2. Your account

  • Provide accurate profile information and do not impersonate anyone.
  • Keep your login details confidential and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
  • Contact hello@khmerdate.com if you need help with account access.

3. Community rules

You must not use the Service to:

  • Harass, threaten, bully, exploit, or discriminate against another person.
  • Post nudity, sexually explicit material, illegal content, or content involving anyone under 18.
  • Solicit prostitution, trafficking, commercial sexual activity, money, gifts, banking details, or cryptocurrency.
  • Send spam, advertising, malware, or automated messages.
  • Scrape member data, operate bots, bypass access controls, or interfere with security.
  • Create fake profiles or misrepresent your identity, age, intentions, or relationship status.

4. Content you post

You keep ownership of content you post. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

You confirm that you have the right to post your content. We may review, restrict, or remove content that appears to breach these Terms or the law.

5. Verification and safety

Members may submit a selfie image for review. An approved profile may display a verification badge. The badge is an additional signal only: it is not a guarantee of identity, intentions, safety, or background, and CambodiaDate does not conduct criminal-background checks.

Use the Service carefully:

  • Never send money, gift cards, banking details, or cryptocurrency to another member.
  • Meet in a public place, arrange your own transport, and tell someone you trust.
  • Use the Report and Block controls if behaviour is suspicious, abusive, or unsafe.

6. Current access and future paid features

CambodiaDate does not currently offer paid subscriptions through the website. No payment method is collected and no recurring charge is created by the current Service. If paid features are introduced, the price, included features, renewal terms, cancellation process, and any applicable refund rights will be shown before purchase and these Terms will be updated.

7. Suspension and account closure

You can pause, deactivate, or permanently delete your account from Account → Settings. We may restrict or terminate an account that breaches these Terms, risks harm, or uses the Service unlawfully. Where appropriate and lawful, we will explain the reason.

8. Service availability

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee a match, a member's identity or conduct, uninterrupted availability, or that every error will be corrected. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss or for the acts of other members. We do not exclude liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

10. Reporting and moderation

Reports can be submitted from a member profile. We may review relevant profile information and reported communications, but we do not promise a particular outcome or response time. Contact emergency services directly if anyone is in immediate danger.

11. Changes

We may change the Service or these Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email before they take effect where required by law. The effective date above identifies this version.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without limiting any mandatory consumer-protection rights or right to bring proceedings available to you under the law of your country of residence.
